The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners recently elected Nick Sramek as president for a second consecutive one-year term. He was appointed to the board in 2007 and first selected as president in June 2009.

The board also elected Susan Anderson Wise, a commissioner since 2008, as vice president; Mike Walter, a commissioner since 2005, as secretary; and Mario Cordero, a commissioner since 2003, as vice secretary. All will serve one-year terms, effective July 1.

The five-member board serves as the governing body for the Port of Long Beach, Calif.
