MARTA seeks ways to improve operational efficiency

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has launched MOVE (Making Operations Very Efficient), a system re-engineering study.
During the 18-month study, MARTA officials will assess operations and recommend changes to improve the “customer experience” using existing resources. The program will focus on near-term improvements that can be executed quickly.
Later this month, the authority will hold a series of public meetings so passengers can provide input on developing operational improvements.
