Mapping it out: CTA helps passengers navigate around communities
advertisement
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) recently posted neighborhood maps at 10 rail stations to help orient passengers with the stations’ surrounding community.
Each map identifies where a particular station is, and notes exit locations and what customers will find at street level outside a station, including street names and addresses for an eight-block radius. The maps also feature community attractions and landmarks such as schools, parks, libraries, stadiums, museums and hospitals
CTA plans to install neighborhood maps at additional stations.
