Rail News: Rail Industry Trends
The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) recently opened an expanded parking lot at the Edgewood MARC train station.
MTA added 141 spaces to the lot, bringing the total number of parking spaces to 291. The additional spaces will help accommodate growing ridership at the station, which is located on MARC’s Penn Line. During the past two years, daily boardings at Edgewood Station have increased from 173 to 230.
