This week, Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) officials are in London to analyze a closed-circuit television security surveillance system on the British South East rail system.
Employees from the administration’s engineering staff and police department are studying a security system designed by England’s Aralia Ltd. to determine if it’s a viable surveillance option for MTA’s platforms, stations and parking lots.
The officials also plan to tour surveillance facilities on the London Underground.
