The Massachusetts Central Railroad Corp. recently named W. Robert Bentley vice president and general manager to succeed Gary Hoeppner, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Bentley has more than 28 years' railroad experience, including management and operation positions.

Meanwhile, the railroad also announced it signed a joint marketing agreement with New Hampshire's Claremont Concord Railroad. Claremont Concord Vice President of Marketing Stephen Fontaine will oversee marketing activities for both railroads, and will be directly involved with new business solicitation, rates and customer relations.
