The Northeast Illinois Regional Commuter Railroad Corp. (Metra) recently opened a new station and parking deck in Oak Lawn, Ill., along the agency’s SouthWest Service route.
The project included a 2,880-square-foot brick depot, 3,200 square feet of outdoor covered areas, two drop-off locations and a five-level parking deck with more than 800 spaces. The station features benches, visual and audio information systems, signs and lighting.
