Earlier this month, Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway named Richard Rushmore vice president marketing to succeed Frederick Jones, who has returned to his home state of New Jersey to pursue other business interests.
Rushmore joined the former Bangor and Aroostook Railroad (BAR) in 1993 as VP marketing and was named VP finance and administration in 2000. He continued to serve in that capacity for MMA when the railroad acquired BAR in January 2003. In November 2003, Rushmore was appointed MMA’s VP, treasurer and secretary. He’ll continue to serve as secretary in his new position.
