MxV Rail yesterday announced the pening of its new heavy duty maintenance facility at Pueblo Plex in Colorado. Construction was completed on schedule.
The fully equipped facility offers indoor space for the service of train locomotives, components and cars under protective cover, MxV Rail officials said in a press release. MxV Rail will use the site to advise industry research partners and clients.
“The [facility] team is proud to be behind the scenes supporting the heavy maintenance required for the world-famous Facility for Accelerated Service Testing (FAST®) program,” MxV Rail officials said. “This year has been busy problem-solving with engineering teams to drive innovation in decarbonization technologies.”
