Today, New Jersey Transit launched service on the mile-long Newark light-rail line, which connects Newark Penn and Newark Broad Street stations.
The $207.7 million line, which includes five stations, serves Newark’s downtown business area, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Riverfront Stadium, the Newark Museum and Broad Street shopping district.
