NJ Transit opens new station, parking facility
advertisement
Yesterday, New Jersey Transit opened the Ramsey Route 17 Station, which features a five-tier, 1,200-space parking deck.
The parking facility helps the state and agency work toward their goal of adding 20,000 parking spaces in the light-rail system by 2007. To spur ridership at the new station, NJ Transit will offer free parking through September’s end.
The station includes an elevated pedestrian walkway to the parking deck, three elevators, heated shelters, restrooms and retail space.
