Rail News: Rail Industry Trends

NJ Transit set to open new intermodal center

Next month, NJ Transit will open the Wayne/Route 23 Transit Center in Wayne Township, N.J., which will provide passengers easier access to express and local bus, and train service.

On weekdays, the facility will be served by trains on the Montclair-Boonton Line. The station will feature more than 1,000 parking spaces, heated shelters and electronic bus departure screens.
