NJ Transit to unveil Mount Arlington Station next month

On Jan. 21, New Jersey Transit plans to open Mount Arlington Station and begin offering commuters along the congested Interstate 80 corridor another transportation option.

The station will be served by trains on the Montclair-Boonton and Morristown lines, enabling passengers to travel to Hoboken Terminal, where they can transfer to Port Authority Trans-Hudson trains, buses and trans-Hudson ferries.

The facility features two high-level platforms, heated waiting shelters on the inbound platform, a pedestrian underpass, and public address and passenger communications systems.
