NJ Transit unveils updated Watsessing Station

New Jersey Transit recently completed improvements to the historic Watsessing Station in Bloomfield.
The $1.7 million project included new platform lighting; repairs to cantilevered canopies, inbound and outbound concrete platforms; new roof tiles; metal fencing and stairway replacements; anti-graffiti coating applications to concrete surfaces; and a new drainage system.
Located on the Montclair-Boonton Line, the station was built in 1912.
