Norfolk Southern Corp. recently donated $50,000 to Railroaders Heritage Corp. to help fund Railroaders Memorial Museum's Railroad Heritage Scholarship Program for the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 school years.
The program provides Pennsylvanian kindergarten through 12th grade students a free opportunity to learn and interpret central Pennsylvania's social and transportation history.
"The Railroaders Memorial Museum and the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark describe in vivid detail an important aspect of Norfolk Southern's history," said NS Director of Public Relations Rudy Husband in a prepared statement.
