The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey recently completed the environmental review process for the World Trade Center Transportation Hub and expects to start construction in summer.
Featuring a Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) terminal with track and platform, and mezzanine levels, the hub will link PATH service with New York City subways and Battery Park City ferries. The facility also will include underground pedestrian connections to the subway system.
The project is expected to be complete in 2009.
