New on ProgressiveRailroading.com: Rail traffic graphics

ProgressiveRailroading.com has added a new feature to its home page: rail traffic graphics. Provided by ASI-Transmatch and updated every Thursday morning, the graphics show changes to and depict trends in Association of American Railroads weekly carloading data.
The graphics include charts on absolute and percentage changes by both traffic types and commodity groups, long-term trends and trends for cyclical traffic, and year-over-year traffic comparisons. In addition, a table provides year-over-year carloading data for eight commodities, intermodal and total traffic from the past several weeks.
To access the graphics, log onto www.progressiverailroading.com and scroll toward the bottom of the home page.
