Earlier this month, the Railway Association of North Carolina (RANC) elected the following board members:
• president, Scott Saylor, president of North Carolina Railroad Co.;
• first vice president, Todd Burchette, general manager of Yadkin Valley Railroad Co.;
• second vice president, Billy Tucker, GM of Wilmington Terminal Railroad L.P.; and
• secretary-treasurer, Ben Zachary, president of Alexander Railroad Co.
Barbara Holmes Marcum will continue to serve as the executive director of RANC, which represents 23 railroads operating about 3,400 track miles in the Tar Heel State.

North Carolina railway association elects board members
