Ohio port authority hires project administrator for grade separation
advertisement
The Wood County Port Authority recently selected Poggemeyer Design Group to serve as project administrator for a grade separation project in Wood County, Ohio.
The project calls for building an overpass in Henry Township over four tracks owned by CSX Corp. subsidiary Evansville Western Railway.
The authority plans to soon seek construction bids for the project, award a contract in September and start work in October.
The railroad will fund most of the grade separation. Poggemeyer Design Group will help the authority — which recently received a $600,000 state grant for the project — seek additional funds for the work.
