Operation Lifesaver of Canada boots up Web site aimed at kids

Operation Lifesaver of Canada recently launched a Web site designed to promote grade crossing and trespassing safety to children.

Accessible at www.olkids.ca, the site includes stories, games, audio and video clips, posters and safety tips. The site also features characters named Rover and the Railway Safety Rabbit, and includes a “Train Your Brain” activity book.

Sponsored by Transport Canada, Canadian railroads and their partners, Operation Lifesaver promotes safety around crossings, and freight- and passenger-rail operations.
