Oregon's TriMet to raise fares
advertisement
On Sept. 1, Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) will increase fares — something the agency does regularly to help keep pace with inflation, according to a prepared statement.
Adults basic fares will increase from $1.30 to $1.35; 10-book tickets, from $12 to $12.50; monthly passes, from $47 to $49; and annual passes, from $517 to $539. Youth/student basic and 10-ride tickets will rise 5 cents and 50 cents, respectively. Honored citizen basic, 10-ride and monthly passes will increase by 5 cents, $1 and $2, respectively.
