PATH to upgrade surveillance system

advertisement

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey awarded a $1.1 million contract to Henry Bros. Electronics Inc. to upgrade the Port Authority-Trans Hudson’s closed-circuit television system.

Henry Bros. will install new system servers designed to control more than 600 cameras throughout the system and high-speed data transmission equipment to connect PATH stations from New Jersey to New York. The company also will upgrade PATH’s surveillance system to a digital recording platform and provide a new network of video workstations from which workers can access data.
