Parsons Brinckerhoff/Systra to help manage Mumbai metro project

A Parsons Brinckerhoff/Systra joint venture recently obtained a contract to provide project and construction management, and engineering services for a seven-mile passenger-rail system in Mumbai, India.

Reliance Energy Ltd. will build, operate and maintain the 12-station Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro Rail system. The line is the first phase of the Mumbai Metro Rail system, which eventually will comprise nine lines totaling 91 miles.
