Quality Carriers to operate KCS' transload center in K.C.

On Oct. 11, Quality Carriers L.L.C. will begin operating Kansas City Southern's new TransLoad Center (TLC), which opened Sept. 1 at Coburg Yard in Kansas City, Mo.
Quality Carriers subsidiary Transplastics operates several plastics transload centers across the country, including KCS' St. Louis TLC.
Also, KCS recently appointed Terry French to head the Kansas City TLC "because of his strong reputation for customer service and record of running an effective, error-free operation," according to a prepared statement.
