Quantum Engineering Inc. recently received the 2007 Business Excellence award for manufacturing in Clay County, Fla. The award recognizes the daily contributions that business and industry make within the community, and employers that have distinguished themselves through innovation, ingenuity, leadership and community involvement.

In 2002, Quantum was selected by the Clay County Development Authority and Clay County Economic Development Council as the “Industry of the Year Award Winner” for an industry with fewer than 100 employees. Quantum now employs 118.

Quantum Engineering provides specialty electronic equipment for the rail industry, including end-of-train telemetry units, locomotive event recorders, and positive train control and computer-assisted dispatch systems.
