RMI scrutinized the nominations and considered all criteria for months. Now, the rail information service provider has determined the winners of the 2008 Fast Track Awards.

Yesterday, RMI announced it’s recognizing 12 railroads and shippers that use the company’s Web-based services to streamline and improve business processes. Recipients of the third-annual awards will be featured in the 2008 Fast Track Award calendar.

The winners are: the Columbus & Greenville Railway; Port Terminal Railroad Association; Marquette Rail; New York & Atlantic Railway Co.; Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis; Tazewell & Peoria Railroad; Union Railroad; Tacoma Rail; Georgetown Railroad; Texas Pacifico Transportation; Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad Inc.; and Pacific Harbor Lines Inc.
