The National Railway Historical Society Inc. (NRHS) recently announced 28 recipients of its 2024 Railway Heritage Preservation grants.

Baltimore-based NRHS awarded the grants in memory of longtime NRHS member Carl Jensen, who died in March. This year's awards totaled $125,000.

"The mission of the NRHS is to help preserve railroad history in all its forms," said NRHS President Tony White in a press release. "These grants will help enable 28 nonprofit organizations to continue to preserve America's rich railroad history."
