RailTrends unveils 2018 conference agenda

RailTrends® today announced the agenda for its 2018 conference, which will be held Nov. 29-30 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.

Confirmed participants include Association of American Railroads (AAR) President and Chief Executive Officer Ed Hamberger, who will be presented with this year's 2018 Railroad Innovator Award.

Other participants will include Lance Fritz, Union Pacific Railroad chairman, president and CEO; Jean-Jacques Ruest, CN president and CEO; Nadeem Velani, Canadian Pacific executive vice president and chief financial officer; Brian Hancock, Kansas City Southern EVP and chief marketing officer; and Alan Shaw, Norfolk Southern Corp. EVP and CMO.

From short lines, participants will include Michael Bostwick, PanAm Railways EVP; Eric Jakubowski, Anacostia Rail Holdings Co. VP and chief commercial officer; Stefan Loeb, Watco Cos. EVP and CCO; and  Michael Miller, Genesee & Wyoming Inc. CCO for North America.

Other speakers will include E. Michael O'Malley, president of the Railway Supply Institute; Chuck Baker, a partner with Chambers, Conlon & Hartwell LLC and president of the National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association; Rodney Case, partner at Oliver Wyman; Donald Broughton, principal and managing partner at Broughton Capital; Tony Hatch, senior transportation analyst, ABH Consulting; and Richard Kloster, senior vice president, AllTranstek/FTR.

A representative of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association also is scheduled to speak.
