RailtecMéxico 2006 will be held Jan. 22-24 at the Hilton Guadalajara Hotel in Guadalajara, Mexico, organizers announced last week. The 8th annual conference will be presented by Asociacion Mexicana de Empresas Ferrocarrileras A.C.

Ferrocarril Mexicano S.A. de C.V. (Ferromex) will serve as the host railroad for the event, which is sponsored by Progressive Railroading, and co-sponsored by CIT Rail Resources and Cattron-Theimeg Inc. The Association of American Railroads serves as the event’s special sponsor.
