Railway Supply Group's Danavac acquires Procor's gravity discharge gate

On Feb. 28, Railway Supply Group announced that subsidiary Davanac Inc. recently purchased from Procor Ltd. assets associated with the Toggle Lock gravity discharge gate.
"Since the mid-1960s, the Toggle Lock outlet gate has been the gate of choice by Canadian railways, and major users and shippers using covered hopper cars," said Robert Grandy, president of Danavac sister company Unity Railway Supply Co. Inc., adding that the gate has been installed on more than 32,000 cars during the past 35 years.
Railway Supply Group owns Danavac, Unity Railway Supply, Industry-Railway Suppliers Inc., Ireco L.L.C. and M&J Filter Corp.
