Retired Emery Tree Services VP Emery dies

On Dec. 19, retired Emery Tree Services Vice President Ben Emery died in Phoenix.

Born in Pittsburgh, he served as a B-17 pilot during WWII. Known as “Big Ben,” Emery spent 27 years at Black and Decker in various capacities. He later served Emery Tree Services — which provides vegetation control and tree pruning services to the railroad industry — as VP of sales and marketing until he retired in 1999.
