Retirement investment trustees appoint chairman, board members

The National Railroad Retirement Investment Trust recently named James Hixon chairman, and Paul Goodwin and George Francisco Jr., board members, according to Association of American Railroads.


Norfolk Southern Railway's senior vice president of administration, Hixon will serve a one-year term, expiring Jan. 31, 2004.


CSX Corp. Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer Goodwin, and National Conference of Fireman and Oilers President Francisco Jr. will serve three-year terms, expiring Jan. 31, 2006.
