advertisement

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) police officers represented by the Fraternal Order of Transit Police plan to launch a strike today at 2 p.m. if the parties don’t reach a labor agreement.

SEPTA and the city of Philadelphia have developed a safety contingency plan, under which city police, SEPTA police commanders and private security agents will patrol and monitor the heavy-rail system.
