Yesterday, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) opened a 1,000-space parking garage at the Frankford Transit Center, which is served by the Market-Frankford subway line and several bus lines.
The four-level facility features automated machines that distribute and validate parking tickets.
SEPTA soon will no longer permit passengers to park at the station’s surface lots.
