Sacramento Regional Transit District (RT) is giving local residents an opportunity to learn about the agency’s budget process. On Feb. 3, members of the agency’s newly appointed finance and administration committee will host a workshop to explain how RT develops its annual budget.

Committee members will discuss the fiscal-year 2006 budget, including revenue estimates, major expenses, and the light-rail and bus service plan. Members also will explain RT’s fare policy and how it relates to FY2006 revenue estimates.
