Sacramento Regional Transit District General Manager Beverly Scott recently was appointed to the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) national advisory board.
"[Scott’s] experience in the transportation industry will be an invaluable asset to the WTS mission," said National WTS President Mary Jane O’Meara in a prepared statement.
Founded in 1977, WTS is an association comprising more than 3,500 male and female transportation officials "dedicated to excellence in transportation through the achievement and success of women."
