The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) recently appointed Michael Wiley interim general manager and chief executive officer to succeed Beverly Scott, who now is serving as general manager of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
A SacRT employee the past 29 years, Wiley most recently served as deputy general manager. The agency’s board now will conduct a nationwide search for a permanent GM and CEO, a process that’s expected to take two to three months.
