On Sept. 1, the Sacramento Regional Transit District will implement the second phase of a fare increase approved by the board in June 2005.
SacRT will raise the base fare from $1.75 to $2; daily pass, from $4.50 to $5; semi-monthly pass, from $40 to $42.50; and monthly pass, from $80 to $85.
The agency previously increased fares in September 2005.

Sacramento agency to raise fares for second time in a year
