Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) soon will begin an independent organizational assessment to help officials determine how the agency can become more efficient.
The authority contracted the Hay Group to review VTA as a whole as well as each division, assess the agency’s financial outlook and analyze specific programs. Scheduled to be complete in March 2007, the assessment also will address staffing levels, reporting methods and available resources.
