On Feb. 15, the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will host a community meeting to discuss the status of the Downtown East Valley Capitol Expressway light-rail project.
Attendees will learn about the project’s aesthetic and architectural design, station locations and design, and community outreach opportunities.
The proposed $430 million, 3.1-mile extension would run between the existing Alum Rock light-rail station to Nieman Boulevard.
