On Nov. 16, Schneider National Inc. presented a service award to Norfolk Southern Railway at Intermodal Association of North America’s annual meeting and exhibition in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The award recognizes NS’ service achievements this year – including the best on-time performance among the Class Is – "innovation and continuous improvement," and ease of doing business, according to a prepared statement.

"Our rail carriers are a critical part of the success Schneider National is having in intermodal," said Vice President of Intermodal Brian Bowers. "Without their dedication to us, we would not be able to deliver truck-like time-in-transit at competitive prices."
