Schneider National receives Wal-Mart's intermodal-carrier honor second-consecutive year

For the second-straight year, Schneider National Inc. has received Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s annual Intermodal Carrier of the Year award, which the retailer recently presented to nine carriers.
Award criteria includes revenue/growth, ease of doing business, communication, flexibility, customer service and error correction/follow-up.
"Our associates are passionate about delivering service excellence to every Schneider National customer, and this award is a testament to their commitment and superior performance," said Scott Arves, president of Schneider National's transportation sector, in a prepared statement.
Schneider National provides Wal-Mart intermodal, truckload and dedicated transportation services. The trucking company offers "TruckRail" and "TruckRail Express" premium trailer services with Burlington Northern Santa Fe and CSX Transportation, and an "OptiModal" expedited container service with Union Pacific Railroad and Norfolk Southern Railway.
