The Senate recently confirmed the appointment of James Simpson as administrator of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
Most recently chairman and chief executive officer of Victory Worldwide Transportation, Simpson also served on the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority board from1995 to 2005.
The top FTA post has been vacant since former administrator Jennifer Dorn left the agency to accept a position with the World Bank.

The Senate recently confirmed the appointment of James Simpson as administrator of the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
