Silicon Valley employers take advantage of Santa Clara VTA Eco Pass
advertisement
As gas prices and highway congestion increase, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority’s (VTA) Eco Pass program continues to gain popularity.
Currently, 86 Silicon Valley employers and San Jose University participate in the program — an 8 percent increase compared with 2002, according to VTA.
Companies can purchase the Eco Pass at a discount by paying a flat fee for each of their employees. Employees then sign up to receive an annual pass for unlimited use of VTA’s light-rail and bus service.
