Six Class I execs to speak at RailTrends

RailTrends^® announced today that representatives of six Class Is will be among the speakers featured at this year's two-day conference, which will be held Nov. 30-Dec. 1 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.

Sponsored by Progressive Railroading, the conference will address the "State of the Union for the Rail Industry," RailTrends officials said in a press release.

Class I experts presenting at the conference will include:
• John Brooks, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Canadian Pacific;
• Jean-Jacques Ruest, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at CN;
• Michael Rutherford, vice president-industrial products at CSX;
• John Scheib, senior vice president law and corporate relations at Norfolk Southern Corp.
• Jeffrey Songer, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Kansas City Southern; and
• Beth Whited, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Union Pacific Railroad.
