Rail News: Rail Industry Trends
The National Small Shipments Traffic Conference (NASSTRAC) recently opened its membership and broadened its coverage to all transportation modes and market segments.
Founded in 1952, the shippers’ association historically has represented the interests of logistics professionals involved in less-than-truckload, parcel and small package shipping. Now, the organization will welcome members from such segments as full truckload, containerization and global logistics.
“Many of our members are now decision-makers in all modes of transportation and logistics,” said NASSTRAC Executive Director Brian Everett in a prepared statement.
