Smiths Detection and RedXDefense L.L.C. recently signed a letter of intent to jointly develop an explosives screening system for transit agencies.
The companies plan to adapt RedXDefense’s detection technology into an explosives screening system designed to accommodate transit agencies’ high passenger throughput by quickly scanning all riders. The system will feature RedXDefense’s fluorescent detection inks, which can detect a range of explosives.
