Sound Transit contracts Parsons Brinckerhoff to construction-manage Tukwila light-rail project

Sound Transit recently awarded a contract to Parsons Brinckerhoff to provide construction management services for the Tukwila light-rail project.
The project includes building 4.2 miles of aerial and 0.7 miles of at-grade double track for the southernmost segment of a 14-mile route connecting downtown Seattle with the city of Tukwila. The project also includes building a station at S. 154th Street and International Boulevard in Tukwila.
Parsons Brinckerhoff will be responsible for reviewing contractor inquiries, schedules, submittals and invoices, and work, and ensuring work complies with plans and specifications.
