Today, Seattle’s Sound Transit will open the top floors of the Kent Station Garage.

Located at Kent’s Sounder commuter-rail station, the five-floor, $10 million structure now offers 871 parking spaces. Commuters now can park on the same floor as the pedestrian bridge.

The lower floors of the garage opened in March 2002.

Sound Transit now offers passengers more than 7,000 permanent parking spaces.
