Rail News: Rail Industry Trends
The National Purchasing Institute recently presented the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA) with the 2007 Achievement in Excellence in Procurement Award, which recognizes organizations that obtain a high score on innovation, professionalism, productivity and leadership in public procurement measures.
SFRTA has received the award for three consecutive years and five times altogether.
The agency also recently won the Florida Public Association of Public Purchasing Officers’ 2007 Award for Excellence in Public Procurement. The award recognizes organizational excellence in procurement for agencies meeting or exceeding benchmarks and best practices in the procurement profession.
